This round Tibetan astrological pendant is of a type worn only by men. Forming a border around the edge are various Tantric implements. Beneath them,
forming a ring around the center, are the 12 animals of the Tibetan zodiac. Within this is a roundel composed of various astrological symbols.
It dates to the 19th century and possibly earlier.
Tibet used a lunar calendar.
