Description:

This silver container, openable from one side by unscrewing the lid, used for keeping protective mantras, inscribed on paper or tiny metal sheets. Was worn around the neck on a silver chain or a strong black cord. The pattern on the front show highly stylised birds, floral motivs and in the center a mythical kirtimukkha.
